Arrow Media Expands Mind of a Monster Brand with New Podcast Series - The Killer Nurse

Arrow Media is expanding its acclaimed Mind of a Monster brand with a brand-new six-part true crime podcast series: The Killer Nurse

Between 1989 and 1995, nurse Kristen Gilbert murdered four of her patients, attempted to murder two others, and is suspected of killing dozens more at the Veterans Affairs Medical Centre in Massachusetts. Her method was chillingly subtle – injecting a hard-to-trace drug directly into her victim’s bloodstreams.  

Across six gripping episodes, criminal psychologist Dr. Michelle Ward consults with detectives, journalists, victim’s families, and witnesses to examine the shocking case of Kristen Gilbert. With exclusive insights, Dr. Ward investigates Gilbert’s crimes and delves into her twisted mind, asking how she managed to kill undetected right under the noses of her colleagues.

The Mind of a Monster Podcast, a companion to Arrow Media’s Mind of a Monster television brand, has launched several hit series, earning industry awards and recognition as one of the leading podcasts in its genre. Previous podcast series featured serial killers Jeffrey Dahmer, Aileen Wuornos and Robert Hansen – The Butcher Baker.

The Killer Nurse will be available to stream from 23rd September on all podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music. Stuart Pender is the Executive Producer, and Linda McCarthy is the Series Producer, both from Arrow Media.
