KSI Joins Britain's Got Talent as the Newest Judge for Series 19

Music artist, YouTuber and boxer, KSI has today been officially announced as the latest judge on Britain’s Got Talent. He joins returning favourites Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon to complete the stellar judging panel for the show’s 19th series.

Much loved judge Bruno Tonioli has confirmed he will be stepping back from the upcoming series due to scheduling conflicts as he returns to the US to film the next season of Dancing with the Stars.

After stepping in as a guest judge for season 18 which aired early this year, KSI proved a huge hit with audiences who witnessed his infectious energy and enthusiasm permeate screens.

Proving his eye for talent, it was KSI’s live show golden buzzer act, Harry Moulding, who eventually was crowned winner of BGT, bagging the £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.

With series 18 alone amassing over 1.5 billion video views online, BGT is not only a juggernaut TV series, but a platform for acts to reach audiences on a global scale and KSI’s impressive social following, coupled with his innovative and versatile talents, cement him as the perfect addition to the show.

KSI said: “I’m so grateful and happy to be a part of the Britain's Got Talent team for another season. I had such a good time last year and I can’t wait to see some more top talent. I’m full of energy, ready to go and can’t wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever! Let’s do this.”

Bruno Tonioli said: “After three incredible series, I’ve sadly had to walk away from a job which has opened my eyes to so much incredible talent and step down as a judge on BGT. And whilst I look forward to filming a new series of Dancing with the Stars in the US, I will miss the chaos and joy that BGT brings, as well as all the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with. They truly are a brilliant team who make brilliant television, and I know KSI will be a fantastic judge too, as he’s already proven this year.”

Britain’s Got Talent, the world’s most beloved talent show, will resume filming later this year, with the 19th series set to air on ITV1 and ITVX in 2026.

Open auditions will continue in London on 6th and 7th September. The open auditions are open to any performer, of any age, with any talent – and acts can either turn up on the day or apply via itv.com/talent. Acts can also apply via video or WhatsApp.

This year's BGT maintained its position as ITV's biggest Entertainment show of the year so far with 5.9m viewers. Streams of BGT on ITVX are up by almost 20% year on year and the launch episode brought in ITV1's biggest 16-34 audience of 2025 so far.

Britain’s Got Talent is produced by TalkbackThames (a Fremantle label) and is Executive Produced by Peter Cornes with Craig Reid as Series Editor. It was commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime at ITV and Lily Wilson, ITV's Entertainment Commissioning Editor.
